Program Overview:

The Data Engineering Training and Internship Program is designed for individuals who are passionate about working with large datasets and building the data pipelines that power data-driven decision-making. Throughout this internship, you will get the chance to work on real-world data challenges, using modern tools and technologies to create scalable, efficient, and robust data systems.
You will be exposed to data warehousing, data pipelines, ETL processes, and real-time data streaming, working alongside senior data engineers to enhance your skills in data architecture and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Pipeline Development: Assist in building, optimizing, and maintaining data pipelines to process and store large volumes of data from various sources.
• ETL Processes: Learn how to design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure efficient data integration and transformation.
• Data Warehousing: Support the development and management of data warehouses to store structured and unstructured data for analysis and reporting.
• Big Data Technologies: Gain hands-on experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka for handling large-scale data.
• Database Management: Work with relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) to manage and query data effectively.
• Data Quality and Monitoring: Assist in ensuring data quality through monitoring, validation, and troubleshooting data issues.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers, to deliver data solutions.
• Documentation: Help document data architectures, processes, and procedures for future reference and team usage.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL), data structures, and data modeling. Familiarity with Python, Java, or Scala is a plus.
• Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with tools like Apache Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka is desirable but not required.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting skills, particularly related to data and databases.
• Learning Orientation: A keen interest in learning and gaining experience in data engineering and big data technologies.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly explain technical concepts and document processes for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and handle complex data projects.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.
