Job Title: Store Keeper

Salary: NGN 100,000 – NGN 150,000

Job Description:
We are urgently seeking a dedicated Store Keeper to manage inventory control and warehousing activities within our store. The successful candidate will be essential in maintaining accurate inventory records, handling the receipt and issuance of goods, and ensuring efficient stock replenishment. Key responsibilities include:
• Receiving, inspecting, and verifying the quality and quantity of incoming goods.
• Properly labeling and storing items to ensure safety and accessibility.
• Maintaining accurate records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and returns.
• Conducting regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Coordinating with the purchasing department for timely procurement of required items.
• Monitoring stock levels and generating reports on inventory status, highlighting low-stock or out-of-stock items.
• Organizing and optimizing the layout of the warehouse for efficient space utilization.
• Implementing and enforcing proper storage and handling procedures to minimize damage, spoilage, or loss.
• Collaborating with the sales team to ensure accurate and prompt order fulfillment.
• Conducting periodic stock rotations and facilitating the disposal of obsolete or damaged inventory.
Requirements:
• Proven experience of 3 years as a Store Keeper or in a similar role, preferably in a retail or warehouse environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent numerical and data entry skills for accurate inventory record-keeping.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and basic computer applications.
• Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and best practices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and vendors.
