Job Overview:
The Project Associate or Site Quality Engineer is responsible for the execution of a wide range of interior design projects in a timely manner, within the project scope and budget while
satisfying and the expectation of all stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
o Take the lead on project executions and deliver to meet and exceed client’s expectations.
o Build and manage strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders, communicate timely and effectively, manage expectations by understanding objectives and aligning deliverables to meet said objectives.
o Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting thorough quality assurance tests
o Assist in carrying out risk assessment and mitigation.
o Read, Interpret and translate shop drawings to aligned Vendors.
o Troubleshoot problems on site and make quality recommendations to correct and move project forward.
o Following through on all potential problems, quality issues, fabrication problems until they are resolved without compromising design intent.
REQUIREMENTS
o Able to read architectural & technical dConstruction translates to construction activities.
o Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
o Familiarity with risk management, HSE and quality assurance/control
o Strong working knowledge of Google Suite and MS Project
_o Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture from a recognized tertiary institution.
o Previous experience within the Interior Design industry is preferred.
. Experience in managing interior fit out projects worth at least NGN100 million as a site supervisor/ project associate in a or a wide range of structured and credible interior design or real estate firm for at least 3 years
o Experience in managing and delivering projects worth 100m and above
o PMP certification is an added advantage
o Registration with professional body
o Experience in managing and delivering projects for multinational companies
