Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Site Engineer. This role entails designing and analyzing structures to ensure their safety, stability, and functionality.
The Site Engineer will ensure that structures can withstand external forces and pressures, such as high winds, earthquakes, and the weight of construction materials.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
• Conduct detailed analysis and calculations to assess the structural integrity, stability, and load-bearing capacity.
• Undertake site inspections.
• Assess the properties and suitability of construction materials, such as steel, concrete, timber, masonry, etc.
• Design various reinforced concrete and post-tensioned concrete, and steel structures
• Manage multiple projects and administer contracts.
• Prepare accurate and detailed structural drawings, plans, and specifications that effectively communicate the design intent and facilitate construction.
• Identify potential risks and hazards associated with structural elements and propose appropriate mitigation measures.
• Ensure all designs meet project and local specifications.
• Collaborate closely with professionals such as civil engineers, architects, civil engineers, and other related professionals involved in the design and construction process.
• monitoring and inspecting work undertaken by contractors
• Supervise and monitor construction activities on-site to ensure adherence to plans, schedules, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments of work progress and quality.
• Prepare and maintain daily reports, including site activity logs and progress updates.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Attend site meetings and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Have a solutions-orientated attitude with strong attention to detail and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Have experience in structural analysis, design, and detailing.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis software, computer-aided design (CAD) tools, and other relevant engineering software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical modeling skills.
• Stay updated with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to structural engineering
• Be a confident communicator, both in written and verbal form
Job Mode: Full-Time
Salary: 200k Net
