Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Professional Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services within Port Harcourt and surrounding areas for our client.
The ideal candidate must possess excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a good understanding of road safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Safely transport personnel, clients, and goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle at all times.
Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely transportation, considering traffic and weather conditions.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with traffic regulations and company policies during transportation.
Keep accurate logs of journeys, including mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
Provide professional and courteous service to all passengers.
Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy where necessary.
Coordinate with the administrative team for scheduling and other transport-related activities.
Assist in loading and unloading of goods when required.
Requirements

Education: Candidates should possess an SSCE/OND or equivalent.
Experience: At least 5 years of proven experience as a Professional Driver.
Valid Driver’s License: Must possess a valid Nigerian driver’s license.
Knowledge of Road Safety Regulations: Must be familiar with traffic rules and regulations within Port Harcourt and neighboring areas.
Good Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
Time Management Skills: Ability to plan routes effectively and adhere to schedules.
Customer Service Skills: Courteous and professional attitude towards passengers.
Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and capable of performing tasks that require physical effort.
Clean Driving Record: No history of traffic violations or accidents.
Age: 30 – 45 years old.
Gender: Male.
Preferred Skills:

Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
Familiarity with Port Harcourt routes and areas.
Ability to use GPS devices and map applications.
Salary
