Job Title: WordPress Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience building and managing WordPress websites, creating custom themes and plugins, and ensuring site performance, scalability, and security. This role involves collaboration with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver engaging and functional websites. (Fully On-Site)

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain WordPress websites using custom themes and plugins.
Customize pre-built themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
Optimize websites for performance, responsiveness, and SEO.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design for all projects.
Debug and troubleshoot website issues, ensuring timely fixes.
Implement and manage security measures to safeguard WordPress sites.
Integrate third-party tools and APIs with WordPress sites.
Collaborate with the design team to transform PSD/Figma designs into functional websites.
Stay updated with the latest WordPress features, plugins, and industry trends.
Manage hosting environments, including cPanel, FTP, and server configurations when needed.
Skills and Qualifications:

2+ years of WordPress development experience.
Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
Experience with custom theme development and child themes.
Familiarity with WordPress hooks, filters, and the WordPress REST API.
Experience with eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce.
Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
Strong understanding of responsive and accessible design principles.
Experience with troubleshooting and debugging using browser developer tools.
Familiarity with Linux servers, DNS, and hosting setup is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) or similar tools.
Knowledge of deployment workflows (e.g., staging to production).
Basic understanding of website analytics (Google Analytics, Tag Manager).
Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue.js) is a plus.
Ability to work with database queries and migrations.
