We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Webmaster

Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

The Webmaster will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and optimization of the company’s website and digital platforms.
The ideal candidate will ensure the website is functional, user-friendly, secure, and aligned with the Organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Write and maintain backend code in Laravel across multiple platforms, while translating stakeholder requirements into functional, secure and production ready solutions.
Develop, integrate and maintain APIs for the organizational platforms, including API analytics, logging and documentation.
Ensure website security, uptime, and performance optimization.
Implement SEO best practices to improve search engine rankings.
Monitor website traffic, troubleshoot issues, and enhance user experience.
Manage domain registration, hosting, and SSL certificates.
Work closely with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency.
Build and debug components using Vanilla PHP, JavaScript, and Vue’s, ensuring UI/UX consistency and responsiveness across the organizational platforms.
Conduct regular website audits and implement improvements.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Provide technical support and training to staff as needed
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Webmaster, Web Developer, or similar role.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
Strong understanding of SEO, website analytics, and security protocols.
Familiarity with UI/UX design principles.
Experience with web hosting, domain management, and cloud services.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
