Job Description
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests, residents, or family members.
Reports to: Housekeeping Supervisor or MD
Responsibilities
Clean and Maintain Rooms: Clean and maintain rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, making beds, and restocking linens and amenities.
Bathrooms and Kitchens*: Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and bathtubs. Clean and sanitize kitchens, including counters, sinks, and appliances.
Common Areas*: Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and public restrooms.
Laundry*: Wash, dry, and fold laundry, including linens, towels, and clothing.
Organization and Restocking*: Maintain organization and restock supplies, including linens, amenities, and cleaning materials.
Safety and Security*: Report any safety or security concerns, including hazards or suspicious activity.
Required Skills:
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and cleanliness.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, including cleaning equipment and linens.
Communication Skills*: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a housekeeping team.
Time Management*: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain organization.
Qualifications
High School Diploma: High school diploma or equivalent.
Housekeeping Experience*: Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in a hotel, hospital, or residential setting.
Certifications: Certifications, such as the Certified Housekeeping Technician (CHT) designation, are desirable.
Working Conditions:
