Job Description

Food Preparation & Cooking:

Prepare and cook a variety of local and international dishes, ensuring authenticity and great taste.
Develop and modify recipes to cater to guest preferences and dietary requirements.
Ensure consistency in food quality, portioning, and presentation.
Menu Development & Planning:

Design and update menus featuring traditional local delicacies and popular international cuisines.
Introduce seasonal and special dishes to enhance guest experience.
Collaborate with the management team to ensure menu offerings align with customer expectations and business goals.
Kitchen Operations & Management:

Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and teamwork.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen according to food safety regulations.
Monitor food inventory, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling, storage, and preparation.
Cost Control & Budgeting:

Manage food costs by optimizing ingredient usage and minimizing waste.
Work within budget constraints while maintaining food quality.
Negotiate with suppliers to source fresh and high-quality ingredients at the best prices.
Customer Satisfaction & Service Excellence:

Engage with guests to understand their culinary preferences and provide personalized meal options when needed.
Ensure prompt and efficient service in collaboration with restaurant staff.
Address customer feedback to continuously improve food offerings and service.
Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef specializing in both local and international cuisines.
Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of traditional local dishes and international culinary techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.
Creativity in menu planning and food presentation.
Work Schedule:

Full-time position with shifts as per hotel operations
