Job Description
As a Smart IT Specialist/ Network Engineer, you will work independently, to complete installation of distributed audio systems, IOT Systems, AV equipment, smart home control, and shading and lighting systems.
Responsibilities
• Maintain, implement and troubleshoot networks
• Design and support network systems and infrastructure
• Configure and operate routers and switches
• Monitor network performance and make recommendations based on performance analysis
• Complete in-home consultation and assessment
• Architecting tailored Smart Home solutions that best meet the customers’ needs
• Rely on problem-solving acumen to analyze customer issues and recommend solutions
• Rely on sales abilities and product knowledge for solutions that are best for customer
• Activating and upgrading systems with enhanced technology
• Perform activation of equipment – including: Cameras (interior & exterior), Security hardware-(e.g., door/window sensors, motion detectors, touchscreen panels), loT and Smart Home devices
• Complete customer on-boarding and education of key products and services
• Experience in the home automation field preferred • Experience with Lutron and either Savant, Control4, or Crestron control systems preferred
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related area
• Minimum 4 years’ of proven experience with lOT, network administration and connectivity, information systems
• Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals
• Must Possess detailed understanding of lOT, Networks and System
• Expert Knowledge of Home automation Systems
• Tech Savvy •
