Job Description
Develop menu, including specials, to align with customer preferences.
Prepare good quality food, ensure every dish meets quality and presentation standards.
Must be able to prepare intercontinental dishes
Ensure safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
Monitor food inventory and order supplies, maintaining a balance between quality and cost-efficiency.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and prepared food to uphold high standards.
Collaborate with management on menu planning, costing, and seasonal updates.
Respond to customer inquiries or requests regarding menu items and accommodate special dietary needs.
Handle any kitchen-related issues as they arise, maintaining a positive, team-oriented environment.
Accommodate guests with duly signed guesthouse booking
Ensure rooms are prepared and clean before the arrival of guests and immediately after check -out of guests
Requirements
OND in Hospitality Management, Food Technology, Hotel Management or Culinary Science
Minimum of Five years’ working experience in a standard Hotel, Restaurant or Guesthouse
Physical stamina and ability to stand for long hours in a dynamic kitchen environment.
The candidate must possess excellent cooking skills and excellent sense of smell and taste. . In addition, must be neat, dedicated and have good human relations.
