KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assists in the prompt & efficient resolution of customer complaints and concerns
Provides updated & appropriate information on issues to customers verbally & in writing
Responsible for collecting details, maintaining a log book of complaints and services provided to alleviate customer concerns.
Making necessary analysis available to management on a regular basis.
Create and maintain a database of information on customer / consignee complaints.
Create and maintain a database on information required for and provided to a customer.
Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of provision of information provided to clients.
Assist in identifying service opportunities for client marketing.
Constantly follow up on service trends, customer preferences, assists in the design of customer satisfaction surveys.
Maintain and update customer database.
Book for Positioning of containers
Follow up with yard on status of positioning
Collect data for unexamined containers and confirm payment for repositioning and reexamination
Monitor and apply Customs Holds and Release.
Follow up with customers and shipping line that has Long-standing containers in the yard.
Sending of long-standing container report to shipping line and terminal.
Book containers for customs physical examination and scanning.
Proper documentation of customers letter of authority.
Any other task as assigned
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Bachelor degree holder from a reputable institution.
Good computer skills
Ability to work under pressure, anticipate potential problems
Effective customer service skills
Sound knowledge and experience of container terminal industry
Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
Fluent spoken and written English
