Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Chef who is experienced in preparing both local and continental dishes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating diverse and delicious meals that meet the high standards of our restaurant. As a chef, you will oversee kitchen operations, manage food preparation, ensure food safety, and contribute to menu development. You will be expected to bring creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for culinary arts to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare a variety of local and continental dishes, ensuring each dish is cooked to perfection.

Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth and efficient operations.

Create and update menus, ensuring seasonal and local ingredients are incorporated.

Ensure all food preparation complies with health and safety regulations.

Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Handle inventory management, including ordering and receiving ingredients.

Ensure food presentation is visually appealing and consistent with restaurant standards.

Supervise kitchen staff and assist in training when necessary.

Manage kitchen equipment and ensure it is properly maintained.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Chef, preferably with experience in both local and continental cuisines.

Culinary school diploma or equivalent certification is a plus.

Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

Exceptional culinary skills with a creative approach to food.

Excellent communication and team leadership skills.

Ability to manage time effectively and multitask.

Strong attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.

Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays.
