Job Summary

  • We are seeking a passionate and talented Junior Product Designer to join our team at Cruz Ride Tech.
  • In this hybrid role, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience of our products.
  • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement intuitive, visually appealing, and accessible interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create interactive prototypes:Translate product concepts and user flows into interactive prototypes to visualize and test ideas.
  • Design and update app interfaces:Design and iterate on app interfaces to enhance usability and aesthetics, ensuring a seamless user experience.
  • Maintain and document design systems:Contribute to the maintenance and documentation of design systems to ensure consistency across platforms and products.
  • Collaborate with developers:Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and provide guidance during development.
  • Identify and resolve UI/UX issues:Proactively identify and resolve UI/UX issues reported by users or identified during testing to improve product quality.
  • Conduct usability testing:Plan and conduct usability testing to gather user feedback and insights, and use the findings to iterate on designs.
  • Cross-functional collaboration:Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to align designs with business goals and user needs.
  • Iterate on designs:Be open to feedback and iterate on designs based on input from stakeholders and users, continuously improving the user experience.
  • Ensure accessibility:Adhere to accessibility standards and guidelines in all designs to ensure inclusivity and usability for all users.
  • Component library maintenance:Assist in creating and maintaining component libraries within the design system to promote consistency and efficiency.
  • Stay updated on design trends:Stay abreast of design trends, tools, and best practices to enhance the quality of your work and contribute to the team’s knowledge base.
  • Participate in brainstorming:Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas for product improvement and new features.
  • Support senior designers:Support senior designers in refining and optimizing design workflows and processes.
  • Create design documentation:Create detailed design documentation, including specifications and guidelines, to guide development and implementation.
  • Monitor and evaluate design effectiveness:Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of design updates and provide recommendations for further improvements.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess a BSc / HND / OND qualification
  • 1-3 years of experience in product design, UI/UX design, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant design work.

Additional Skills (optional):

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.
  • Experience with graphic design and Adobe photoshop.
