Job Title: Geographic Information Analyst (GIS)
Location: Lagos

𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲:
The GIS Analyst/Developer will be responsible for utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software and technologies to analyze spatial data, create maps, and generate actionable insights for various projects and initiatives.

𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭y:
– Collect, compile, and validate geospatial data from various sources such as service delivery, Project, Sales, Planning and Metro.
– Develop and maintain databases to organize and manage spatial datasets effectively
– Conduct spatial analysis using GIS software to identify patterns, trends, and relationships within geographic data.
– Perform overlay analysis, proximity analysis, and network analysis to solve spatial problems and address FTTH business needs.
– Develop custom GIS Web applications and tools using programming languages such as Python, R, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
– Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their GIS requirements and provide tailored solutions.

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
– BSc, HND or Master’s degree in Geography, Urban Planning, GIS, Environmental Science, or a related field.
– 2-3years cognate experience in Telecommunications industry
– Familiarity with programming languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript, HTML) and GIS scripting.
– Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
