We are looking for a Golang Backend Developer to join our innovative team and play a pivotal role in building and maintaining the backend systems that power InstaShop. If you’re passionate about creating high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend solutions, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend systems using Golang.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Implement and manage database architecture, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.
  • Develop APIs and microservices that integrate seamlessly with frontend applications.
  • Ensure application security and data protection through best practices.
  • Monitor and optimize application performance to ensure uptime and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
  • Contribute to DevOps tasks, including CI/CD pipeline setup, database deployment, and server management.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Golang developer, with a strong understanding of Go’s ecosystem.
  • Solid experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Proficiency in database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of version control systems, especially Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure management tools like Terraform or Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of frontend technologies and their integration with backend systems.
