Job description
We are seeking a highly experienced professional with extensive knowledge and experience in the downstream sector of the oil and gas industry in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with depots across Nigeria and will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and ensuring the accuracy of critical data points that drive business decisions in the oil and gas sector, establish partnerships with organizations to obtain data, manage data entry and quality, and maintain relationships with third-party vendors.

Please note that this is not a Data Analyst role. If you apply for both the Data Sourcing Analyst and Data Analyst positions, your application will be disqualified.

Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain partnerships with organizations to obtain data
• Negotiate data-sharing agreements and ensure compliance
• Manage data entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Ensure data quality, cleaning, and preparation for analysis
• Maintain relationships with third-party vendors providing data
• Gather data through primary and secondary means
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Meet project deadlines and deliverables

Requirements:
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of a second-class upper
• Proven track record of establishing partnerships and negotiating data-sharing agreements
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Assertive personality with a “”get things done”” attitude
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to accuracy and, organizational skills
• Certification in data quality or related field (desirable)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Nice to Have:
• Experience with data analytics tools and technologies
• Knowledge of data quality best practices and standards
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance
