*JOB SUMMARY:*
*THE CNG/LPG TECHNICIAN* would be responsible for the Installation, Servicing, and Maintenance of CNG Generators, CNG and LPG Fuel Systems and associated components. This role ensures the safety, compliance, and functionality of alternative fuel systems in Generators, Vehicles and Auto-Gas Stations, helping to promote sustainable and environmentally friendly transportation.

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* :
• Install CNG and LPG Fuel Systems in various vehicles, including Generators, Automobiles, Trucks, and Buses.
• Retrofit existing Vehicles with CNG/LPG systems, ensuring proper conversion and adherence to safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNG and LPG systems, including inspections, adjustments, and component replacements.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions, addressing issues related to Gas delivery, safety valves, regulators, and related components.
• Conduct emergency repairs and provide technical support to address breakdowns promptly.
• Ensure all CNG/LPG systems meet safety regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct leak testing, pressure tests, and safety inspections to verify compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Generate reports on system status, maintenance schedules, and repair activities.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers, including vehicle operators and fleet managers.
• Address customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and offer solutions.
• Manage inventory of CNG/LPG components, spare parts, and tools.
• Reorder supplies as necessary to minimize downtime during maintenance and repairs.
• Assist in training vehicle operators and technicians on the safe operation and maintenance of CNG/LPG systems.

*QUALIFICATIONS:*
• BSc or HND is Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience as a CNG/LPG Technician or similar role in the alternative fuel industry.
• In-depth knowledge of CNG and LPG systems, Generators, including Tanks, Fuel Lines, Regulators, and Safety mechanisms.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols for working with CNG/LPG.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication abilities and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.

*KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*
• Manage and coordinate the dispense of Products to Customers, adhering to proper safety standards as stipulated by the group.
• Coordinate the fill-up and dispensing of Gas in line with the CNG dispensing procedure. •Ensure CNG is re-ordered in time; in line with the company’s procurement policy to avoid scarcity of Gas.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports of Gas dispensed.
• Call the attention of the Line Manager or nearest Security Personnel to report suspicious activity in and around the dispensing area.
• Ensure all Gas supply and dispensing is done in a safe manner.
• Ensure that all Security, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards are maintained, and to promote these standards to others.
• Produce risk assessments and method statements.
• Ensure technical compliance with rules, regulations, and acts, for the services being delivered by the• Ensure all tools and equipment in/around the Gas station are clean & and stocked always.
• Attend all Safety and departmental toolbox meetings.
• Report any damage or issues relating to the job to your Supervisor/Line Manager.
• Record all job-related activities.
• Any other duties assigned

*REQUIREMENTS*
• Candidates should possess at least an OND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 1-3 years working experience as a Gas Attendant or similar roles.
• Good communication and written skills
• Ability to multitask.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills
