Job title :Supermarket manager
Salary range: 150k – 200k
Location: Asaba, Delta.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all supermarket operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.
Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
Recruit, train, and supervise supermarket staff, including cashiers, stock clerks, and department managers.
Schedule staff shifts and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to employees.
Monitor and analyze sales reports and financial statements to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Manage budgets and control expenses to maximize profitability.
Develop promotional strategies and pricing to drive sales and customer loyalty.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing complaints and resolving issues promptly.
Implement customer service standards and training for staff.
Foster a positive shopping environment to enhance customer experience.
Oversee inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize loss and shrinkage.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate terms and ensure timely delivery.
Enhance product visibility through effective merchandising strategies.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field (preferred).
– Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a supermarket or grocery store.
– Strong leadership and team management skills.
– Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
– Proficiency in budgeting financial analysis, and inventory management.
– Knowledge of merchandising techniques and retail software systems.
