JOB TITLE: Waiter/waitress
Industry: Hospitality (5-star hotel)
Location: GRA, Ikeja
PAY: 70,000- 90,000(incentives and bonuses)

The ideal candidate for this job position will be someone that has experience in dealing with a diverse customer base while offering top of the line customer service to clients, patience in understanding the needs of our customers , Excellent communication skills both oral and written , attention to detail, a sense of urgency when it comes to time sensitive orders, the ability to appease moody clients in the event of a delayed order, ability to learn the menu and give accurate recommendations that will promote our services and aid in customer satisfaction.
Experience in restaurant system softwares such as MICROS will add as a bonus in employment.

Job description:
* Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses.
* Welcome customers & escort them to their tables
* providing excellent wait service to ensure satisfaction
* Inform customers about the day’s specials
* Taking and delivering customer orders
* Ability to make menu recommendations, answer questions and share additional information with customers.
* Ability to up-sell additional products when appropriate
* Ability to use POS ordering software, order slips or by memorization.
* Ability to execute job description in accordance with state regulations when receiving orders for alcoholic beverage.
* Excellent communication skills
* Regularly meet with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu and service specifications for reservations.
* Ability to follow all relevant health department regulations
* At least 1 year of work experience as a server/ waiter /waitress
