Accountant Needed in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Job title : Accountant
Renumeration: 180-200k
Location: Lekki Phase 1,Lagos.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial statements, ledgers, and other records.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecast.
Analyze variances between actual results and budgeted figures.
Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with regulations.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations and also assist with internal and external audits.
Analyze financial information to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Work closely with other departments to support financial planning and analysis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Certification in accounting is a plus
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Minimum of 2 years of cognate experience is required.
