Job Title: Civil, Engineer

Job Type: Full Time, Onsite

Location: Warri, Delta State

Responsibilities:
• Design, plan, and supervise construction projects while ensuring adherence to industry
standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Conduct site assessments and surveys to determine project requirements and constraints.
• Develop comprehensive engineering designs, including site layouts, foundations, and
structural elements, while considering environmental and safety factors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to incorporate civil engineering aspects into overall project plans.
• Prepare accurate project cost estimates and timelines to ensure compliance with
budget constraints.
• Oversee construction activities to maintain quality control and ensure compliance with
design specifications.
• Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving issues to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to enhance project success.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for tender submission.
• Provide technical expertise and support to project teams and stakeholders.
• Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and advancements in civil
engineering, particularly in the oil and gas sector.

Requirements
• Minimum of a bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
• Relevant project, professional, and safety certifications (COREN, ISPON, etc.).
• A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant Civil Engineering experience, specifically on oil and gas projects.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
• Strong project management and scheduling capabilities.
• Proficiency in MS Project.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards and codes.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies.
